I stayed at this peaceful hotel for 2 nights during my visit to Costa Rica. The location, just 14 km outside of Sarchi, offered a quiet and secluded atmosphere. The surrounding agricultural farms were stunning, and the paved road made it easy to get around. Mario, the host, was amazing and even let me hold a hummingbird feeder, attracting these beautiful creatures to land on my finger. The hike to 3 Marias and the Fatima waterfall showcased the abundant wildlife in the area. The addition of WiFi was a plus, and the meals served were delicious, including the newly available beer.

While the lodge had many positives, there were a few areas that could be improved. One issue was the high room rate compared to similar accommodations in other areas.
